  1. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Anime faces backlash on social media.
  2. Studio Ghibli’s new film “The Boy and The Heron” breaking all the records, once again.
  3. My Hero Academia anime is all set to release in Cartoon Network India in multiple languages in India.

1. Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is again on the news for a controversial scene from the anime

Mushoku Tensei jobless reincarnation
episode 6 scene featuring Rudeus and a slave dwarf girl.

To give a context for those who are not following the series is that, the main protagonist of this Isekai show namely Rudeus is seen to buy a slave who is a dwarf girl with mere 5years of age and after seeing her dead eyes, he offers her a death.

The 6th episode of Mushoku Tensei, when Master Fitz suggests Rudeus that in kingdoms when noble childs lack talent they buy slaves and train them to fill that role. Thus Rudeus went on to buy one for his pupil Zanoba.

But soon the whole thing about slave buying and offering a death in the episode became a huge debate in the anime community. Such that the author himself has to step in and defend Rudeus and himself. The message was looked like an apology but he later shrugged of telling that you guys might have misinterpreted it.

Whether apology or no apology by author, it doesn’t change the fact that this is a fictional story which is been set in such harsh ways and every fan out there must understand that these stories are nothing less than mirror of historical events where huge amounts of peoples were facing slavery in the past. We just need to understand the gravity of such situations and feel gratitude enough that we don’t live in that era anymore.

At last whether to accept such harsh facts or accept it just as any other fictional story is your decision to take.

Here’s how one of the Mushoku Tensei’s fan explains the whole debate.

2. The Boy and The Heron anime gets a flying start on theatres

So, according to Animenewsnetwork sources the latest featured Ghibli film has sold more than 1.353 million ticket worth US $15.53 million in the first 4 days of its release in Japan.

Some old records were also broken as this new Ghibli film surpasses their own early records of Academy-Award winning film “Spirited Away” in 2001.

The film will be released in other countries later this year. Following the special screening of the film on various film festivals such as The New York Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival, San Sebastian Film Festival.

Considering this film has not spent a single penny for its marketing and more importantly not a single teaser nor a trailer, this is very very huge and record breaking on its own for any kind of digital content out there.

After the release there are words that Miyazaki had derived the film from Genzaburo Yoshinio’s 1937 novel “How do you live?

Are you going to watch the movie in theatre’s when it comes to your city?

3. My Hero Academia has arrived in India and in Hindi too.

Yes, the famous anime My Hero Academia or Boku no Hero Academia in Japanese is coming to India and all thanks to Cartoon Network India. According to Cartoon Network India announcement, the anime will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Kannada and Malayalam dubs.

The official release date is still unknown but we really look forward for this step as after ages of their Dragon Ball Z licensing and a huge hit, this anime might be their next big success in the Indian market.

For a little context about the anime, this anime is based on Manga written by Kohei Horikoshi launched back in 2014 in Weekly Shonen Jump and the first anime adaptation was premiered back in April, 2016.

The anime is in its 6th season with varied number of episodes in all of its season and an 7th season adaptation on line.

So, how much did Cartoon Network India will stream it is still in question but things will be much more clear once we get the release date and all, i guess.

Synopsis of the anime goes like this,

The appearance of “quirks,” newly discovered super powers, has been steadily increasing over the years, with 80 percent of humanity possessing various abilities from manipulation of elements to shapeshifting. This leaves the remainder of the world completely powerless, and Izuku Midoriya is one such individual.
Since he was a child, the ambitious middle schooler has wanted nothing more than to be a hero. Izuku’s unfair fate leaves him admiring heroes and taking notes on them whenever he can. But it seems that his persistence has borne some fruit: Izuku meets the number one hero and his personal idol, All Might. All Might’s quirk is a unique ability that can be inherited, and he has chosen Izuku to be his successor!
Enduring many months of grueling training, Izuku enrolls in UA High, a prestigious high school famous for its excellent hero training program, and this year’s freshmen look especially promising. With his bizarre but talented classmates and the looming threat of a villainous organization, Izuku will soon learn what it really means to be a hero.
