Hell’s Paradise : An introvert’s Review of Spring Anime

Well, if you have missed really cool action genre anime in this winter season, like Tokyo Revengers or Vinland Saga Season 2 part I or Trigun Stampede, Well there’s a lot, not worry about them anymore, A brand new season has just began in the calendar and one particular anime has caught everyone’s attention instantly and that is undoubtedly “Hell’s Paradise”

Introvert’s review of 1st episode of Hell’s Paradise

So, while reviewing the 1st episode, I would like to introduce the premise of the anime also and if you hate that, then you should probably jump directly into the anime as it’s really good.

The anime starts with some terrifying scenes of beheaded heads, all lined up and there’s this last man standing whose head is about to get chopped off. There’s a narration in the background of how the beheading process is executed which was intimidating and terrifying at the same time. Here director did an amazing job to hook our attention in the tense situation instantly. By the way the person who is getting beheaded is our protagonist named “Gabimaru” or famously known as “Gabimaru the hollow”, but certainly every other technique used to kill our protagonist is failing. Our protagonist is one of the greatest ninjas in the village and has become one of the strongest which can withstand it and he keeps nullifying the execution process used on him even though he wants to be killed as he says. But there is a resistance inside him and that must be found out, so there’s a lady who is sent to observe and record all the things. 

This all-anti word play will keep you guessing the if and buts for sure, which will cover most of the minutes until the resistance has finally been out casted and our protagonist will get another chance to fulfil his only dream after he visits a mysterious island and bring the elixir of life on the other side of the village called Hell’s Paradise.

This is just the first episode, and we mustn’t overhype but still it looks very promising plus it has an essence of Demon Slayer which I know most of you know very well.

Some more details about Hell’s Paradise 

This freaking amazing anime is another masterpiece produced right in the furnace of great anime’s, yes MAPPA.
If there is MAPPA, then definitely the quality of the animation is unquestionable as always.
The action sequences are mostly sword fights and sometimes special Jutsu techniques used by a few alpha ones.

Hell’s Paradise has started airing on1st April 2023 and will be aired every Saturday 23:00 JST or 14:00 GMT.
There is no streaming partner as of yet, so you might have to rely on community websites like zorotv or 9anime.

Update on streaming of Hell’s Paradise anime

Looks like the potential of the anime is evident as soon after the 1st episode is released without having any streaming partner before, now this Mappa’s masterpiece has two streaming partners, Crunchyroll & Netflix. All the people who have subscriptions of these platforms, enjoy 😉.

Final Thoughts

The start of the anime looks fantastic with its storytelling and an instant hook with the characters.
